Emmanuel Adebayor has taken to Facebook to refute claims suggesting he had turned his back on his family by outlining everything he has done for his relatives.
The 31-year-old Premier League striker, who played down reports suggesting he kicked his mother out of his house back in November, has listed all of the items he has bought his close family relatives during his time as a professional footballer.
Adebayor insists he has decided to alert the public of his argument with his family in order to ensure 'other African families learn from this

The Togo international, who returned to first team action against Manchester City on Sunday after spending just under two months on the sidelines, reveals incredibly personal matters in his 877-word statement.
He highlights how he paid for his mother to travel to London for medical checks, let his sister stay in his $1.2million house in Ghana and helped one of his brothers set up a business, as well as paying for his children's education.
Emmanuel Adebayor, who moved to England in 2006 when he signed for Tottenham's arch-rivals Arsenal, also claims he sent his mother away for a week's stay with Nigerian faith healer T. B. Joshua - only for her to leave after just two days.
The Premier League ace stops short at criticising his deceased brother Peter but does incredibly suggest he was not allowed to see his sibling when he was 'seriously ill' and was told to 'just give money'.
Adebayor, who recently met up with Chelsea striker Didier Drogba to discuss his problems, goes on to say he has set up a foundation in Africa 'just in case I die'.
In a separate Facebook post, Adebayor says: 'Many people requested that I take advice from the living legend, @DidierDrogba.
'Recently, I sat down with the man himself and the main advice he gave me was to do what pleases me and what makes me happy. Moreover, I should also tell my family [@Kola Adebayor, @Roten De Lux Adebayor and @Lucia Adebayor] to go find a job to do.'
He felt the need to go on Peace FM back in November to refute claims made by his sister Maggie that he had had kicked his own mother out of his house.
His sister Margaret claimed during an hour-long interview with Peace FM that the reason behind his decision was because he thought his mother was a witch, to which Adebayor said: 'I never sacked my mum from the house. She decided to leave the house.
'How am I going to be in touch with my mum if my mum is the one telling everyone that my work will not go forward, so I will just be on my side and do my thing.
'They should stop talking, they should stop doing Juju on me, they should leave me alone.
'I bought a $1.2m house in East Legon for the one talking and calling herself my sister. Can you imagine that sister went to rent the house without my knowledge?'
