Resident doctors at LUTH on Monday embarked on a 3-day warning strike over unpaid May salary and arrears.
All my life,i don't think i have ever seen a country where the workers strike so much as Nigeria! It must be a nightmare to work in Nigeria's civil service! You toil and suffer to
get a job,they you get the job and they don't pay you for 3 months and make you think they are doing you a favour for you to be in that job at all! Incredible!
Dr Ramon Moronkola, the President of ARD (Associate of Resident Doctors) LUTH chapter said they were being owed 13 months arrears.
“We don’t know why our case is different in LUTH. Other doctors in the employment of the Federal Government have since been paid,” Moronkola said.
